Essential oils labor

I am a nurse and a certified aromatherapist and I have custom designed two essential oil blends for the first two stages of labor. My blends are created from 100% pure essential oils derived from chamomile, lavender, rose, clary sage, frankincense and jasmine, which are known for their pain relieving and calming properties. Once labor has started, the blends are massaged into where the contraction pain is felt the most. The unique properties and wonderful aromas of the oils help reduce anxiety and fear, and promote maternal comfort and well-being.

My blends are based on essential oil research and have been clinically tested in a hospital labor unit. I use only G.C.M.S tested essential oils in all my products therefore the customer is buying the highest quality aromatherapy product for use in labor.

My blends are based on a study by Oxford Brookes University, UK which involved 8058 participants over 8 years. Following completion of the study in 1998, aromatherapy became part of the mainstream care in the Oxford labor unit. (see Studies page for additional information)
